Would we were centered
not cast about,
whole minds unfettered,
not burdened with doubt.
Have we a path,
a new road to choose,
almost unseen
for lack of use?
Question the wide and easy way,
though it’s clearly well traveled
and often repaved.
Focus your eyes on the challenging
route,
while you can choose,
while it is day.
