Dreaming of heavenly things
my mind is blown by what God brings

Good thoughts to ponder: the divine and the mundane. You view a fantastic cloud formation, then a bunch of weeds springing up in you garden.
However, your poem needs a bit of tweaking; hope you don’t mind a suggestion? Consider leaving out the second line in the first verse. And “prove” isn’t the word you want for the last line. I think you’re saying something like “I have so many better things to view” but your meaning isn’t clear with “prove.”
Those reading this now will wonder what the 2nd line was. It read, “is interrupted by cleaning things.” I like the change! Also, “view” ties in better with the line in the 2nd to last stanza about washing my eyes, although I went back and forth a little about that word. Clarity is sometimes sacrificed for art in poetry, but the journalist in me can’t resist a good editor. Feel free to offer suggestions any time, Christine.
